Dr. Ronnie Givens, board certified OB/GYN at Lowcountry Women’s Specialists, has received the INC Research Clinical Research Site Award for his work with Palmetto Clinical Research for participation in a Bayer Healthcare Study. The award recognizes outstanding participation, collaboration and communication in efforts to improve the health and treatment options available to patients worldwide through clinical research.
This accomplishment is the latest recognition Dr. Givens has received for healthcare innovation. He was also the first physician to perform a single site robotic hysterectomy at Trident Medical Center and serves as a da Vinci robotic preceptor, one of only three in the Lowcountry teaching other surgeons around the country how to use the da Vinci robotic surgical system.
